IAL Archive: I understand that you've written music based on Richard Matheson's I Am Legend. What can you tell us about that?

Mike Hoffman: There is actually one completed and recorded song I did some years ago, although I had planned to try doing a whole album based on it. I may still try that some day. It's called Red Lights, and your readers are invited to download it. I actually wrote the thing about 25 years ago and recorded it on a cheap digital 8 track recorder about 5 years ago. I should redo it sometime soon.

IAL Archive: I understand this isn't your only connection to Richard Matheson?

Mike Hoffman: I also recently illustrated a Matheson story called "Crickets" for an upcoming mag called "Doomed" from IDW.
