Those of you who were regular visitors to the site may recall my numerous threats of actually writing a book on I Am Legend and its subsequent film adaptations. I'm sorry to report that the project I was working on is indefinitely on hold.
The goal was to put together the definitive look at the book and movies that it inspired. Interviews had taken place with Richard Matheson, Charlton Heston and Paul Koslo. The book was to be lavishly illustrated with rarely-seen stills, lobby cards, posters and other unique memorabilia.
As part of the revamping of the website, look for my commentary on the varous screenplay adaptations - both produced and unproduced.
If you or someone you know is a source of information or memorabilia from the films, please contact me! All contributions will be gratefully acknowledged.
If you'd like to read an early draft of John William Corrington's screenplay to The Omega Man, David Allen Brown transcribed it here. I will add links to the Mark Protosevich script as well as John Logan's draft soon. If you can help me get my hands on a copy of Tracey Torme's script, it would be greatly appreciated.
In the mean time, sit back, relax, and enjoy the films. That's right, watch The Last Man on Earth or Night of the Living Dead right now on your computer:
